What is Starview Lounge?

Starview Lounge is a privately owned venue that offers an exclusive, intimate experience for movie lovers and event-goers alike. With seating for up to 40 guests, our venue features comfortable chairs that make every screening a relaxing experience. Enjoy your favorite films on our large screen, paired with big sound delivered through a professional PA system for an unparalleled viewing experience. Plus, our pricing includes your favorite movie snacks, so you can enjoy all the classics while you relax. In addition to movie nights, Starview Lounge is also available for private functions, including birthday parties, workshops, and intimate concerts, making it the perfect space for any special occasion.

How often do you show movies?

Enjoy family movies every 2nd Friday evening,  and Saturday afternoon and evening. Join us for action-packed films on the first Monday of each month, and don't miss our Chick Flick Thursdays once a month for the perfect girls' night out!

How do you choose the movies?

At Starview Lounge, we pride ourselves on offering a curated selection of current and new movies to keep our screenings fresh and exciting. We carefully choose films from a wide range of genres, ensuring there’s something for everyone—whether you’re into action, comedy, drama, or family-friendly picks. Our goal is to provide a dynamic movie experience that appeals to the diverse tastes of our patrons, making every visit an exciting adventure.

What is included in the ticket price?

At Starview Lounge, we provide a unique cinema experience ideal for a family outing, a fun group of friends, or a memorable date night. Watching the movie is free, subject to purchasing a refreshment package. The ticket price covers the cost of running the cinema system and includes a selection of delicious snacks, ensuring you can enjoy both the film and tasty treats without any extra costs. Just grab your refreshment package, sit back, and enjoy the show!

Can I drop my kids off to watch the movie while I take care of other things?

Yes, absolutely! We have adult supervision on-site, along with a trained Level 3 paramedic, ensuring your kids are in safe hands while they enjoy the movie.

Do I have to book?

Yes, please! Bookings are essential as we prepare the popcorn fresh before each movie and want to ensure we have enough stock of everything for all our guests. Payment secures your booking. 

Where do I book?

Under each movie, you'll find a "Book" button. Simply click the button, which will take you to the specific movie's booking page. From there, you can select the number of seats, your preferred beverage, and complete your checkout.

If you encounter any issues making a booking online, don't worry! Just WhatsApp the following details to us:

  • Name & Surname

  • Movie name, date, and time

  • Number of people

  • Choice of beverage

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Contact number

We’ll handle the booking for you and send you a confirmation via email. 

How do I pay?

You can pay for your tickets via EFT or through the Yoco Payment link provided in your booking confirmation email. When making your payment, please use your surname and order number as the reference (e.g., Smith #1130) to ensure your booking is correctly processed. Your payment secures your booking. 

What if someone has an allergy or dietary restriction and cannot have what's in the refreshment package?

We understand that dietary restrictions and allergies are important to consider. If you or someone in your group cannot have the items included in our refreshment package, please let us know in advance. We can offer alternative snacks or work with you to accommodate specific dietary needs. Simply contact us ahead of your booking, and we’ll make sure everyone has something safe and enjoyable to enjoy during the movie.

How does cancelations work?

At our cinema, we prepare fresh popcorn just 30 minutes before the movie starts to ensure the best flavor experience for all guests. Running the equipment and setting up the cinema is a costly and time-consuming process, as we need to power on the systems at least 10 minutes before the showtime for proper warm-up, in addition to other necessary preparations. As such, bookings are essential. If you fail to attend without canceling in advance, you will still be liable for the full ticket price. To cancel your booking, simply visit our website and click the WhatsApp icon to send a direct message, or reply to the booking confirmation email we sent you.
